Friends of the BC Archives talk on Lessons in Legitimacy
I was honoured to be invited to kick off the Friends of the BC Archives Speaker Series in Victoria. I spoke about my book, Lessons in Legitimacy: Colonialism, Capitalism, and the Rise of State Schooling, to a packed crowd at the Royal BC Museum and online on Zoom. Much of the research for the project was completed at the BC Archives, so it was nice to be able to talk about the research and thank the BC Archives for all their support over the years.
The talk was recorded so you can watch it below.
